Henry and Sarah in the future – a fantastic extra to the series!

This little bonus carries on from Royally Matched, a fun little glimpse into the lives of Henry and Sarah 20 years after they met and fell in love.

Henry is almost 50, he’s married, a father and is now the King of Wessco, and raising his children is bringing back memories of his beloved grandmother as he realises the importance of the lessons she taught him. Oh, the irony!

I loved checking in with this family! Not only do we see Henry and Sarah and meet some of their children, but there’s also a brief glimpse of Nicholas and Olivia, with a little catch up so we can see what they’ve all been up to. Written mostly in Henry’s POV, we get a good grasp of just how much he’s grown up, though he has managed to retain his cheeky playfulness, and we get to see just how in love with he and Sarah still are, which is just gorgeous.

“Watching you become who you are has been the greatest privilege of my whole life, Sarah.”

I loved this little bonus. Available as a freebie on Amazon, there’s really no excuse not to read this one. It’s a must-read for fans of the series.
