I love this book! Sexy, funny and romantic, this was a really fun read that had me grinning, swooning and frequently fanning myself.
In the last book of the series we saw Abi and Cade (aka ‘Dr Hottie’) hook up for one steamy night, not realising that their friends all knew each other and were part of a close circle. It’s now ten months later and after running into each other at a club, they go for a repeat performance where we get to see just how hot they truly are together – and damn!
Fuck me sideways and call me Nancy, why does his dirty mouth make me want to fall at his feet and offer him everything I have?
Ten months ago Cade’s life was all about his career and he wasn’t in a place where he could start anything. Things are easier now, and with his father running for mayor and his mother constantly on his back about finding somebody, he proposes to Abi that she be his fake girlfriend – for mutually beneficial reasons.
“How about this? We know the sex is hot. Why don’t we keep doing that and while that happens, you accompany me to any events I’m forced to attend by my parents? No pressure, and no expectations.”
“There should at least be the expectation of naked gratitude. I’ve gotta get something out of this.”
I thrust my hips against her as my answer, and a breathy sigh escapes her lips.
Abi is bold, brave and sassy. She’s been through a hard time but she’s worked hard to pull herself out of it and reclaim her life, and you’ve gotta admire her for that (and I love the fact that Cade does as well). She knows what she wants and she doesn’t hold back from getting it, and she knows she hasn’t gotten enough of Cade, so she’s all in.
“Fair’s fair, Dr Carsen. I scratch your back—”
“I get to lay you flat on yours.”
But along with the social events and hot, hot sex, Cade and Abi are genuinely interested in getting to know each other and before they know it, things between them start to change.
“I like that we text, we talk, we spend time together just hanging out. We work on so many levels that aren’t sexual that the fact we go off like an atomic bomb in the sack is just the icing on the cake.”
OMG I love these two together! They laugh, they tease, they banter and have fun, and before they know it, they become an integral part of each other’s lives. It’s one of those situations where everybody around them can see how deeply involved they are, and it’s just a matter of time before they catch up.

“It’s always been real. We’ve just finally realized it.”
And of course, the sex is frequent and dirty, and the chemistry is off the freaking charts!
This is beyond sex – this is surreal fucking that should be documented for future generations. It would be a worldwide bestseller. How To Rock Her World By Completely Shattering Her Vagina.
We get to see lots of time with them together, which I loved, and their relationship develops naturally and realistically into something incredibly special.
“I think I’m falling for our real,” I say quietly.
A slow-growing smile plays on his lips before he lowers his forehead to mine and whispers back, “That’s good, because I’m already gone.”
It’s not all easy, and they do have issues that need to be resolved, but for the most part this is a drama-free, angst-free, functional relationship. For me, it’s always a sign of a great romance when the author doesn’t have to create unnecessary drama just to add interest to the story, and that is the case here. I was invested in Cade and Abi as a couple, I loved seeing them together, I love that they opened up to each other about how they were feeling and what they wanted, and then they worked to get it, and it was total swoony perfection!
“I want you to tell me everything and I promise, whatever it is, we’ll get through it….”
“You honestly believe that, don’t you? You believe in us that much?”
“I don’t need to believe in us. I know it’s true because I’m absolutely gone for you, Spitfire.”
Of course the characters from the Bliss and Game series are all a part of the story, and I loved catching up with them. This is such a great group and each book builds on that and makes their links stronger, and I especially loved the girl and boy bonding time. I also loved the introduction of Cade’s brother and sister – they are fantastic characters, and I’m so excited that Cam will be getting his own book in the future.
I loved this book. It was a great mix of fun, hotness and romance, and I’m excited for Thomas’ book up next.

“Are you at work already?” I ask, having a brilliant idea of swinging by her place for a quickie.
“Yeah, I’m sitting in my office.”
There goes that plan then.
“Is the door closed?” I ask, a rather nice image of Abi taking care of herself in her chair and describing it to me in vivid detail flashing through my mind.
“Cade . . .” she warns, but her tone is not cutting. There’s a vein of amusement and a raspy undertone running through it.
I chuckle. “Okay, okay. I’ll behave.”
“Good, because after last night’s efforts, I can still feel where you’ve been and that’s had me at level five all day. You instigating phone sex in my office when I can’t do anything about it for eight hours is just cruel.”
My mouth goes dry, and my groin tightens. “You can still feel me?” I ask gruffly, thinking phone sex is another fucking fantastic idea as I scan for the next exit.
“Cade, my vagina has had more of a workout in the past week than it’s had in the ten months between visits.”
That grabs my attention. “Ten months?”
“Shit,” she mutters. “Forget I said that.”
“There’s no way I’m letting you out of this one. Are you saying you didn’t sleep with anyone else after me?” Why the hell do I like that so. fucking. much?
“I was busy! Doesn’t mean I didn’t give my toy chest a good workout.”
“Yes. The toy chest. Guess what just got scratched onto our to-do list?”
“You mean the to-do-me-with list?” she says with a giggle.
“That too.”
