Hitched: Volume Three by Kendall Ryan picks up right after the ending of the second book. Noah has basically dug himself into a huge hole and has no idea how to get out of it. He is going to be hard pressed to change Olivia’s mind and get her to understand and forgive him for his actions. They were beginning to build a beautiful life and one decision seems to have ripped it all apart. The trust between them is gone, betrayal left in it’s wake.

It’s almost like we’re back to square one. Before I got to know him, before I saw him as anything more than an annoying, lazy playboy. Before I (almost) fell in love. I have to decide all over again whether I can trust him.

Olivia is angry and not able to move past Noah’s actions. Hurt and betrayed, she is left questioning everything that has grown between them and needs to determine what she really wants to do with her life. She had a decision to make that will affect everything around her.

Noah regrets even considering what he was thinking of doing and is determined to win back Olivia. He loves her and wants his wife back. What started out as a fake marriage became real when Noah realized his feelings. How will he ever make things right again?

I enjoyed Hitched: Volume Three but it wasn’t my favorite in the series. Olivia and Noah were their usual selves but I felt both were a little bit too stubborn. I can completely understand Olivia’s feelings and decision to push Noah away. The thing that bothered me was how much back and forth she did with her feelings.

Noah was the same sweet and sexy guy he was in the first two books and he had his work cut out for him. I loved his persistence and how much he loved her. He wasn’t going to let her go.

“You’re all I’ve ever wanted. The one girl who seemed to be immune to my charms, the one person who could keep me on my toes, debating with me for hours. The most beautiful woman who I always desired, yet never got a shot with. You’re mine now, and now that I’ve got you, I won’t mess this up. I promise you.”

For the most part his actions were fine but a few times I found myself thinking whether he would actually act the way he did in certain situations. Overall, I really liked Noah. He had such a big heart and would do anything for Olivia. In the end, he just wanted to make her happy and love her. She was what mattered most to him.

I love books about fake or arranged marriages. That theme alone is what had me grabbing these books as soon as they were released. However, throwing in an heir clause that had a ninety day stipulation annoyed me. It wasn’t the actual clause that bugged me most but rather the short time requirement. Becoming pregnant is not always easy and I feel like even if they were actively trying to get pregnant, they may not get pregnant in those three months and then they would be punished if it didn’t happen immediately. On top of that, the clause written by their dads seemed unnatural. I understand that they always wanted them together but if they wanted them to be happy, forcing them to have a child before they were ready isn’t what a father would want. Deciding to have a child a huge decision that should be made between the couple, not the parents of the couple.

This book also seemed a bit rushed in the second half and everything wrapped up a little bit too nicely. Overall though, this novella was enjoyable. I am content with the way things ended and enjoyed the epilogues and the glimpse into the future.
