3.5 dirty, dirty stars

Holy hot damn. Ladies, hold on to your ovaries! Meghan March writes wonderfully steamy stories, but she’s outdone herself with this one and it absolutely sizzles! It’s a second-chance-romance, so all of that sexy is complemented beautifully with a heart-felt love story and I really enjoyed it!

Meghan’s Dirty Billionaire trilogy was a great read, so I was really excited when I saw that she had written a story for Creighton’s younger sister, Greer. Smart, strong and sensible, Greer Karas is used to living life in the shadow of her billionaire brother, but she has made her own life and is successful in her own right, and I really like that about her. But that’s not to say that she has her life together, because one night spent drowning her sorrows after a breakup, and this happens…

Desperately seeking rich, famous, single guy with a giant cock to make my lying, cheating, should’ve-been-born-dickless ex-boyfriend realize what he’s just lost.
Oh, and I give great head. Just sayin’.

Greer’s drunken tweet is about to get her into a whole lot of trouble. Not just from big brother, Creighton, but from the thousands of responses she receives to her mortifying media blunder. What she doesn’t admit to anybody though, is that she only had one man in mind when she wrote it – current Hollywood heart-throb and the man who got away, Cavanaugh Westman.

Greer and Cav met when she was in College and he was a maintenance man. But he disappeared from her life three years previously and she never heard from him again – and then all of a sudden he reappeared as Hollywood’s newest action star. Cav hears about Greer’s ad through a colleague, and he sees it as the opening he has been waiting for. He left Greer to make something of himself, and now that he has achieved that, it’s time for him to claim the woman he has always considered his.

“Open the door, baby girl. Your message came through loud and clear with that ad”

Oh holy hell, this book is ALL kinds of hot! Cav is gorgeous, confident and sexy. He’s got dominant tendencies, has a filthy mouth and he likes a bit of kink, and the sex is off the charts steamy!

“You’re all mine. You’re gonna be my dirty girl.”

Greer is powerless to resist, and the two of them are soon swept up into an intense and passionate love affair – escaping the media whirlwind and discovering each other in ways they’ve both only dreamed about. Cav makes it clear that he’s back and he’s not letting her go, and Greer happily throws herself into everything that he offers – exploring sides of her sexuality that she never even knew existed.

“You’ll never remember any cock but mine. Never remember any orgasms as good as the ones I’m about to give you.”

Filled. Taken. Owned. All of these feelings riot inside me as he fucks me with sharp drives of his hips, slowing for a few and then fucking me harder.

But though the sex is clearly stellar, Greer tries not to get swept away with her emotions. Cav has left her once, and she’s terrified of him doing it again. Plus, he is still keeping secrets about his absence. She’ll need to figure out if there is more to what they have together than just their intense physical attraction. And can their fragile reunion survive when Cav’s secrets are revealed?

I really liked this read. It’s short and steamy, I love the characters, and there’s a great mix of humor and a nice amount of emotion. But it’s mostly about the sexy, and hot damn! I thought Creighton was dirty, but Cav takes it up a notch to downright filthy! His declarations had me blushing and his moves had me fanning myself. It’s a spine-tingling guilty pleasure and March holds nothing back in showing us exactly the type of man that Cav is.

But more than just being the master of smut, Cav is emotionally invested in Greer from the very beginning, and though he’s a dominant alpha through and through, I love that we got to see that side of him as well.

Mine. The taste of Greer on my lips and her body in my hands unleashes a wave of primal possessiveness. She’s not the girl who got away; she’s the one I walked away from. Life doesn’t always give us second chances, but this one is mine and I’m taking it. And her.

It’s a great read, but it ends on a nasty cliffhanger, so make sure you’ve got book 2, Dirty Love, ready to go, because you’ll need it!

3.5 stars.
