Numbers.
They complete me.
Nothing makes sense without them, the building blocks of logic.
A math teacher by day, a statistics doctorate student at night, my obsession to solve problems is constantly fed.
I’m exactly where I want to be in life, no unknown variables or unsolved formulas.
Lyra.
The woman beyond the numbers.
How can I stay away, when everything about her draws me in?
But how can I fall in love, when she won’t promise me eternity?

Review
4 “To Jupitor and Back” stars
“Surrender to what is, let go of what was, and trust in what will be.”
ETERN1TY is book two in the EXPIRE Duet and the continuation of Lyra and Tavian’s story. It cannot be read as a standalone and this review contains spoilers for EXP1RE, book one.
I couldn’t wait to dive back into Tavian and Lyra’s lives especially after the cliffy in book one. It basically picks up from where EXP1RE left off and we get thrown head first back into their unique story. The twist that was revealed at the end of book one changes everything and makes your mind whirl with possibilities. Like the first book this one took turns I didn’t see coming and it has the same fast-paced, exciting feel to it. It’s intriguing, engaging, creative, and romantic, and I couldn’t put it down.
I loved the character development Lyra and Tavian go through as a couple as well as individually. I loved watching Lyra grow as she comes to terms with all that is laid out in front of her. Finally living instead of merely existing, she actively tries to overcome her fears surrounding her ability and I loved the emotions she experienced.
Tavian came home to a disaster after his trip and I was a little nervous about how things would play out. I shouldn’t have worried because he is such a great Hero and I knew he would do the right thing even if he did dig himself into a big hole before he could finally climb out. I loved that he was true to his heart and his honesty with Lyra and his commitment to her warmed my heart. He was an all around good guy and I loved his personality, strength, generosity, enthusiasm, and his positive outlook on things.
The power I have carries a burden so intense and so heavy it’d crush me if I let it. I have to keep living each day, moving forward on my journey, never staying in place or stopping to search for the finish line.
Tavian is sweet, swoony, and sexy and I fell harder for him with every page I turned. His love for Lyra never wavered and his determination to make things work between them was moving.
There are 7.2 billion people in this world. Over 1 million of them attend the San Fermin Festival each year. And I found the only one I didn’t know I was looking for. You and me… we were written in those stars of yours.
Lyra and Tavian are so good together that every interaction left a smile on my face. Sometimes insta-love can negatively impact a story but in this case it worked well. Their connection was undeniable and strong as ever. I loved how Lyra and Tavian came together, and watching them grow as a couple was heartwarming. The support, comfort, and acceptance they provided was just as important as the intense passion they delivered. I loved that their differences and similarities balanced their relationship out, and I could tell they truly were perfect for each other as they lived life to its fullest.
“There’s not even the smallest fraction of doubt that we’re supposed to be together. Call it fate, call it destiny, call it whatever you want. You’re mine and I’m yours for as long as we have left.”
When Lyra and Tavian discover that they have the more in common than they could have imagined, I loved how they had different reactions. The emotion was real and palpable. It was raw and believable. Their relationship is not always easy and they hit some major bumps along the way. Some were surprising and others devastating, but they are committed and determined to find their HEA.
“That’s what life’s about—finding the relationships that are worth the pain, the summits peaking higher than the valleys dip low.”
Overall, ETERN1TY was a wonderful conclusion to Lyra and Tavian’s story. I loved that way things played out, even the difficult parts, and enjoyed reading the heartwarming epilogue.
