Tori Bellows is a really good friend. She’s always there when a shoulder is needed to cry on, to give dating advice, or for a good ol’ time. Now, though, Tori is the one who needs a shoulder to lean on when she’s in a tough spot. But all of her friends are too busy with their own lives.
Enter the Twin Estates’ resident bad boy, Landon Edenhoff. When he offers her an all expenses paid vacation, she’s immediately suspicious – he’s rarely nice and his intentions are never good. But she’s ready for a change of scenery and knows she can give as good as she gets from Mr. Rude & Nasty himself.
After all, how bad could this neighbor really be?

4 stars!
Tori has had a crush on her boss, Liam Edenhoff, for what feels like forever. For some reason or another, he has always been off limits and she has patiently waited for her chance at love. When Liam is finally single, or so she thinks, she confronts him about how she feels. Feisty, angry, and full of lust, she is ready to make him see who has been in front of him the whole time. The tension is sky high, the chemistry is off the charts, and Tori is finally going to get her moment with Liam. Too bad the man she’s about to cross the line with is the wrong Edenhoff.
Landon is smart and sexy and Liam’s twin brother. He has a medical background and is the more serious brother but he has a messy life tangled up in booze, cocaine, and women. He is the opposite of what Tori wants but sometimes lust, hurt, and anger jumbles up your mind. Soon Tori discovers that one moment with Landon is enough to change everything.
Neighborhood Watch, the fourth book in the Twin Estates series by Stylo Fantôme, was so much more than I could have imagined. I knew nothing about the story except who the characters were and it took me by surprise and on a wild ride. It was interesting, exciting, entertaining, dangerous, and deeper than I expected. The characters were complex and as their layers began to unfold I became more and more invested in their lives. Both were so much more than meets the eye and understanding the reasons that formed them into the people they are made me like them even more.
Tori is lost, hurt and needs a vacation from the drama in her life. When Landon offers her a fun, sex-filled escape, she cannot refuse and is in for a ride of a lifetime. Though they seem to hate each other outside the bedroom, they can not deny each other inside the bedroom. Tori and Landon are hot, intense, passionate and so fantastic together. The push and pull is awesome and though the physical is what brought them together, it’s what is inside that ignites something more.
They are both misunderstood but Tori and Landon somehow see the real person hiding behind the walls protecting their hearts. They both have insecurities but believe in each other. As feelings emerge that are confusing and new, they start to realize that they are so much more than just a casual hook-up.
“When I think about you and how I feel about you, it’s like I can’t breathe. I can feel you every moment of every day, all over my skin, and it’s amazing, and I never want it to end, but I know it’s going to end, because I’m going to ruin it at some point, and then I’ll lose you, and I can’t fucking handle that. So I can’t breathe.”
After they see past the lust and attraction, they find a love that neither have felt before. They fall for the good, the bad, and the ugly, and I was glad they didn’t force the other to become something they weren’t. They did however make the other want to be the best they could be. I loved watching them mature and develop throughout the story, and in the end they were exactly who they should be.
The story is well-paced and addictive from the start but things kick up a notch two-thirds into the book. It is nail-biting and nerve-racking, and I loved it. It’s a painful eye-opener of how some decisions have consequences that change your life and the lives of the people around you. I was frustrated and angry at times but I was so anxious about how everything would play out. It wasn’t an easy journey but in the end I was happy how Tori and Landon finally find their HEA.
“I really don’t deserve you, but … I’m so fucking thankful for you. You saved me, Tor. I didn’t even know I was dying, and you brought me back to life.”

About the Author
Crazy woman from a remote location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a necessity!), I have been writing since … forever? Yeah, that sounds about right. I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball – I also see shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I laugh a lot, I’m clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT.
I like dogs more than I like most people, and I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t drink. No, I do not live in an igloo, and no, the sun does not set for six months out of the year, there’s your Alaska lesson for the day. I have mermaid hair – both a curse and a blessing – and most of the time I talk so fast, even I can’t understand me.
Yeah. I think that about sums me up.
