Zoe and Liam meet in a hotel bar and sparks fly. They figure a one-night stand can’t hurt as long as they keep it simple. No names. No strings. Only pleasure. The next day it’s over and they don’t plan to see each other again. Only, that proves difficult when it turns out Zoe is the temporary Director of Marketing of Omnilife, the very company that Liam happens to be CEO of. Both decide it’s best to keep things professional and forget the night they spent together. Too bad they can’t stop thinking about each other.
No strings attached. That was the whole point! And now all the strings are tangled up with one another.
Zoe is a strong, smart, independent woman who is ambitious, confident, and determined to do her job and do it well. I loved her sass and her ability to give as good as she gets. Liam may be hard on the outside but on the inside he is sweet and generous. The reason behind his business endeavor was endearing and his heart won me over. I also loved that it was Liam that wanted everything and not Zoe. Too many times it’s the woman begging to be with the man but in this case Liam is willing to take a chance. It was refreshing and sweet.
This book is seriously steamy. It starts with an intense one night stand and it just gets hotter from there once Liam and Zoe actually decide to be together. They have great chemistry and know what they want but I did think that their relationship felt a bit rushed when they jumped from keeping things professional to going all in. I wanted them to fight their attraction longer and allow the sexual tension to really build before they combusted. It was, however, entertaining nonetheless, and I definitely enjoyed Liam and Zoe’s story.
Overall, Flawless is another sexy steamy story to add to the list if you like office romances!
