Chemistry is my love language.
I’ve always been able to separate feelings from chemosignals. A shot of dopamine, a dash of serotonin, and a sprinkle of oxytocin—and bam. You’re in love.
And when egg meets sperm, you’re pregnant.
I couldn’t even be surprised as I stared down at the little blue plus sign, because I knew exactly when and how, and with whom it happened.
When: approximately five weeks ago.
Who: one night stand.
How: prophylactic malfunction.
The upside? I don’t have to go looking for a suitable mate.
Genetically, he’s the cream of the crop. His musculature is a study in symmetry and strength, his height imposing and dominant. He is a man who thrives on control and command, a man who survives on intelligence and resourcefulness. A perfect male specimen.
And the whole package is wrapped up in a flawlessly tailored suit. I’m having this baby, and he insists we’re well-suited to have it together. And what’s worse? He wants more, in the way of love and marriage.
But love isn’t real. It’s just a product of chemistry.
And if he changes my mind about that, we’re both in trouble.

4.5 stars!
“You know something, Kate?”
What?”
“I sure am glad I knocked you up so I could woo you.”
Theo and Katherine’s relationship starts out with a bang when they go dancing with friends. From the moment they meet there is an undeniable attraction that grows as the night goes on. Their chemistry is smoking hot and they enjoy a passion fueled night that changes everything.
My lips took a taste they would regret. Because within a single heartbeat, I was addicted.
In the morning Theo knows he wants more but Katherine seems to have other ideas. She avoids him for as long as she can but soon she shows up on his doorstep pregnant, and he is determined more than ever to win her heart.
Ever since I read the sneak peek at the end of Work in Progress I have been eagerly waiting for Katherine’s book. Ooooh, how I do love a surprise pregnancy book and Well Suited is fantastic. With a unique heroine, a swoony hero, and a wonderful mix of humor and heat, it is delightful. A super sweet, heartwarming journey of growth, self-discovery, and unconditional love, I couldn’t put it down.
We finally get to see inside Katherine’s head. She is quirky, strong-willed, and practical. She is a strict rule follower and thrives with them. She doesn’t like change but she also faces her situation head on. I understood where her thoughts and ideas come from and my heart actually hurt for the way she grew up. I found her endearing and different, and I really liked how her character made this story unique.
Ever since I met Theo I knew he was going to be an amazing man. He is so swoony and I fell for him hard. He is selfless, has such a huge heart, and will do anything for the people he loves. The way he puts his family first shows just how wonderful he is. And then there is the way he treats Katherine. He is respectful, sweet, and always thinks of her. He is willing to go all in if she lets him and I loved him for that.
Theo and Katherine are amazing together. I seriously couldn’t keep the smile off my face whenever these two were together. You can tell that there is something special between them the moment you see them together. As different as they are they fit together perfectly. Her rules and his flexibility work and they complement each other. Their openness and honesty help guide their relationship, their fears and reservations are real, and their patience and understanding are key. Their relationship is functional, easy, and comforting, and I loved experiencing all the feels as their love blooms.
“You made me feel…” She paused, correcting herself. “You make me feel like I’ve been starving my whole life, and I thought my depravation was just the way life was. That living in a constant cycle of exhaustion and retreat was just how relationships worked. That’s the best way I can explain it—I was starving, and you are a feast.”
But Katherine has ideas that eventually won’t fit with the future they are heading towards. I loved watching her realize what is most important and her growth when things get hard. And I love how Theo sticks with her. He is patient even when things aren’t easy. Katherine and Theo bring out the best in each other and I was rooting hard for their HEA.
I loved seeing the whole gang, especially Amelia and Tommy because I wasn’t quite ready to say goodbye when their amazing story ended. The epilogue was the icing on the cake and I loved how everything played out.
Though I am sorry to see the Red Lipstick Coalition series end, I can’t be happier with this group of characters and their HEAs!!

About the Author
Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life — a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can’t forget that. She’s also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She’s been a wife, though she’s certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She’s also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she’s been drinking whiskey. When she’s not writing, she’s reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.
