4.5 “Life is messy” stars!

After a glimpse into the past, The Fight for Forever picks up at the end of the last book, House of Scarlett. Lives are threatened and it seems like the only way for Legend to get out alive is to lose everything anyway. Legend isn’t going to let that happen and neither is Scarlett, so they fight for their future and give us a love story to believe in, and it is unputdownable!

I loved this trilogy and loved this book! Scarlett and Legend are fantastic and remain true to their characters from the first book to the last making them real and genuine. Scarlett continues to prove her strength and remains true to her beliefs. She is all in with Legend and is willing to do anything because of her unconditional love. She stands up for him and I loved how confident she is while proving to the world everything Legend means to her.

“Listen up, because you need to hear me and hear me well. I love you for who you are. Past mistakes, flaws, and all. I wouldn’t change you or trade you for anything. You are it for me, Gabriel. So we fight this. We fight for us. And you know what? I don’t lose.”

Legend is determined to keep the ones he loves safe. They are his world and now that he has a future to fight for, he will not fail. His character growth is wonderful and made his character more relatable. He doesn’t have to do things alone and I love that he learns to accept help.

Scarlett and Legend are a power couple in so many ways and I just wanted them to grasp their happily ever after. They are all in and there is no questioning their loyalties, and I loved it. They know each other better than anyone and I felt their connection. Their relationship is solid and I loved how sweet they were with each other. They also crank up the heat and light the pages in fire.

Like the previous books, The Fight for Forever is suspenseful and intimidating, entertaining and addictive. We meet people from the past and people who will change the future. There are turns that will shock you and twists that will leave you speechless. I didn’t know what to expect but it was better than I could have imagined.

The secondary characters are great as usual and I’d love more from this group of characters, especially Flynn because she is so intriguing. We also get to see other March characters make an appearance which is always a treat!

Overall, The Fight for Forever is a fast-paced, exhilarating read, and a fantastic conclusion to the Legend Trilogy, and I loved it!
