Moses and Mags are back and they take us on an emotional rollercoaster full of ups and downs as these two try to survive to get their happily-ever-after. With a murderer on the loose, they must stick together and fight for the love they deserve.

Madam Temptress gives us more of Moses and Mags and their undying love. Moses is all in, and I loved the way he shows Magnolia how much he loves her.

I will fight for this.
For us.
For our future.
Come hell or high water, I’m never letting her go.

And fight he does! He isn’t letting anything touch Mags and it is totally swoonworthy. Moses will do anything to protect her even if it means asking for help. I loved that they realize they are not invincible and can’t always do things on their own. I love that their vulnerabilities are real and though they have fear and heartache, they won’t give up. They’ve come too far and aren’t ready for it all to end.

“Whatever comes, we handle it together. That’s how it works from here on out. We’re a team, and I’m not letting anything happen to you. I waited to damn long for my second chance to risk throwing it all away.”

Moses and Mags are the perfect match and balance each other out. They are in it together and are better for it. They trust, love, and believe in each other and I love that they are honest and open. I truly believe that together they can make it through anything.

I enjoyed the romance but I loved how this book really revolves around the threat to Magnolia. We are thrown back into a world of mystery and murder, and the suspense builds in the most delicious way. At times, you don’t have a clue who will make it out alive or who is the one determined to get revenge. There is a lot of death in the book and it’s frightening but I love the warped nature of the story. It was fast-paced and surprising, and I loved the twists.

The ending wrapped up quickly but I wasn’t bothered by it. I liked the way it ended and I adored the epilogue. Talk about putting a solid smile on my face!!

Overall, Madam Temptress is an awesome conclusion to the Magnolia Duet and I am so happy with Moses and Magnolia’s love story!!
