AJ has spent the last five years working for her incredibly handsome boss, and though most woman wouldn’t be able to resist him, the friendship they’ve formed has been key in keeping things platonic. When AJ sees her fiancé cheating, she runs to the only person she can. Now, there’s incredible tension between AJ and Adam thanks to the sexy lingerie she was wearing when her heart was broken. Adam sees her in a different light and AJ can’t help thinking about him in ways she’s never allowed herself to before and what follows is a wonderful friends-to-lovers romance that is sure to put a smile on your face!

Reckless is so much fun. It has the perfect mix of sweet, sexy, and swoony, and is full of heat, humor, heart, and feels. AJ and Adam have always kept things professional, so once the line is crossed things change in more ways than one. Sure the sexual tension is off the charts, the chemistry is electric, and there are smoking hot sexy scenes that included office fantasies and more, but it’s the personal connection that has morphed into more than just a friendship that is really special. They get to know each other on a deeper level and I could feel their respect for one another.

“I just need you to know that you’re fucking incredible,” he murmured, making my heart flutter in my chest. “I keep thinking I’ve found out everything there is to know about you,” his voice was a near whisper now, “but you keep surprising me every day.”

They are perfect together both in and out of the bedroom, and are wonderful as coworkers. The banter is fantastic and they give as good as they get. They are hilarious together but also complement each other well and knew the other’s worth. They open up  in ways they never imagined and I loved that that they are there for each other when they need it most.

Then, there is a issue that changes everything. I so wanted things to go a different way but I understood exactly while they had to play out the way they did. And I loved both AJ and Adam for how they handle the situation. AJ is strong and determined and Adam was all swoony and loveable.

Overall, Reckless is an emotional story at times but still brings all the fun making it lighthearted as well. It’s a delicious addition to the Irresistible series and I recommend it to all romance lovers, especially those who love the friends-to-lovers trope!
