This was a sweet, sexy and romantic read. It’s the first book in the Until Her series, which is a spin-off from the Until series. July is the eldest daughter of Asher and November Mayson from Until November, and I loved being back in this world with this great group of characters. (You don’t need to have read the Until series before starting this one, you’ll probably enjoy it more if you do).

July is now 26 years old. She’s running her own vet practice and though she’s pretty much a homebody, she does have a wild streak, and while out riding her motorcycle one day she runs into a group of bikers. It’s a fairly unconventional first meeting, but sparks fly between July and gorgeous biker, Wes Silver, and though she doesn’t realise it, everything for her is about to change.

Wes is an ex-SEAL who finished his service and decided to start an MC with his military buddies. They all settled in July’s hometown with a legit mechanic business while also dabbling in some badassery-for-hire (for the good guys of course). Wes is in no way looking for a relationship, but there’s something about July, and he can’t stop thinking about her.

And so begins the alpha pursuit of the woman he wants.

“Bet once I’m there, I won’t ever want to leave. Bet you’d go wild for me the minute my hands were on you. Bet you want it as badly as I do.”

He’s not wrong! July has been waiting her whole life to experience the ‘boom’ – that sudden feeling you get when you meet ‘the one’ – and though they get off to a rocky start with a bit of back and forth, July can’t deny what’s happening between them.

It’s not my first kiss, but it’s the kiss—the one that makes my soul light up, the kiss you wait your whole life for, the kiss that changes everything you thought you knew.

I love these two together! July is feisty with a bit of a temper, and I love that about her. Plus it creates a great dynamic with Wes and his no-nonsense, alpha ways.

His face dips, and his lips whisper over mine.
“I’m willing to explore this thing between us. I’m willing to give you me while doing that, but I expect the same from you.”

Like its predecessors, I was quickly sucked into this story, and loved watching July and Wes fall hard and fast in love. It’s not all rainbows and orgasms, and they have their ups and down and their arguments, but they are functional together and there is no stupid behaviour or unnecessary drama, thank God! They like each other, they want each other, they deal with their issues and they make it happen – and it’s super sexy and a TOTAL swoonfest.

“I love her with everything in me. Since almost the moment I met her, I’ve felt a pull to her unlike anything I have felt before. I don’t deserve her, but no one will ever love her like I do or will.”

The romance is well-paced, with great chemistry and lots of sweet moments, and it’s tied in nicely with the additional storylines featuring a bit of a crime/mystery element, July’s family (who are all there in their fantastically supportive yet interfering glory), and a secondary love story which was a really nice addition. It all builds to its inevitable climax, only to end well with a gorgeous epilogue that left me with a huge smile on my face.

“Never wanted much, babe, but knew the moment I looked into your eyes, I wanted you. I promise I’ll find a way to make myself worthy of you. You’re my everything.”

There’s nothing particularly ground-breaking about this book, but that’s what I love about this series. You know what you’re going to get going in, and it’s a great read if you’re looking for fun, sexy, romantic and drama-free. I loved the Until series, and I’m really looking forward to exploring more of this one – I’m already loving the set up for June’s book!!

I really enjoyed it – 4 stars.
