Just Folking Around is such a fantastic set up the Totally Folked. I am so excited to finally get a book about Jackson James and I already love Raquel so I can’t wait to get my hands on their full love story.

This novella gives us just the beginning of Jackson and Raquel’s relationship. From the first time they meet to the goodbye in the morning, it’s just a tease of what can be but we do get some heat and sweet moments.

Their connection is real and I love that Raquel and Jackson are instantly taken with each other. He’s nothing like she expected and everything she didn’t know she could fall for.

I thought I could seduce him and keep things tidy, I thought I could be his fantasy, I thought I’d been in control. I was not in control. Whatever this was—this pull, this heat and energy—I’d never felt anything like it. Not with anyone. He won. I surrendered.

They only spend an evening together but you know they could really become something if they just gave it a chance. However, Raquel has a “one-night only” rule and in the morning she heads back to Los Angeles. Their night is unforgettable and I loved that we get just enough to leave us wanting more. More swoon, more sweet, and more heat!!

Overall, Just Folking Around is a fun, little treat. I can’t wait for Totally Folked because I am hooked on this couple already, and after finishing the novella with Jackson’s Love Letter to Raquel at the end, I am even more excited for their story!
