Review: Immersed in Pleasure/Submit to Desire (Original Sinners Pulp Library) by Tiffany Reisz

Review

“Women tend to fall in love with me when I take my clothes off.”

Short and sweet HOTTTTTTT!!!

This book contains two novellas that take place in the Original Sinners world, and both featuring the fabulously perverted Kingsley Edge. These are complete standalones that can be read independently of the rest of the books of the series.

Immersed in Pleasure

This is a really quick read, introducing us to the Manhattan Mermaids – rumoured to be the most beautiful women in New York City, each of them virgins who swim and entertain men in an exclusive club run by none other than Kingsley Edge.

Through flashback, Derek Prince tells the story of meeting one of the mythical mermaids, and we follow his pursuit of her as he tests the limits of the rules, and his own control, as he fights to win her love (among other things).

3 stars.

Submit to Desire

Aaaahhh, Kingsley! You sexy, wonderfully overly-confident, French pervert – how I love you!

Featuring the king of the kinky underground, this short novella tells the story of Kingsley finding and training a new submissive for a client. His training includes lots of practical experience, and all I can say is – Charlotte is one lucky bitch!

“You’re such an asshole. I can’t believe you’re digging around my past.”
“I intend to fuck you blind before you leave my home, Charlie. Is penetrating your past more intimate than penetrating your body?”

Entirely unapologetic and devastatingly sexy, Kingsley is at his arrogant best as he introduces a somewhat shy, but very intrigued Charlie into “the lifestyle”, and opens her eyes to sexy shenanigans beyond her wildest dreams.

“My feminist friends would kill me.”
“Those of us in the lifestyle are too busy having very good sex to worry about the gender wars.”

Set before the The Siren, it doesn’t tie into the overall storyline of The Original Sinners series, but is a great little extra for those who, like me, are having withdrawals from Tiffany Reisz’s fantastic characters. We even get a very brief glimpse of Nora and Sren.

A fun read for fans of the series.

4 stars.
