The Tease, book three in The Virgin Society series, is an entertaining and smoking hot romance and it features Jules who we see in the first two books of the series, and Finn, her dad’s best friend.

Jules and Finn share an unforgettable evening at a masquerade party at The Scene, and while masks kept their identities hidden, they didn’t stop these two from experiencing a connection. However, before they can meet up again at The Scene, Jules discovers that her mystery man is her father’s best friend. He’s older, a single dad, and absolutely forbidden, but that doesn’t stop these two from lighting the pages on fire when they get together. They try to stay away but they find themselves headed to Paris at the same time and experiencing the city together changes everything.

Jules and Finn start out with insta-lust and this story is definitely heavy on heat. Finn gives Jules exactly what she loves in the bedroom and while I enjoyed this part of the story, what I love most is that these two really get to know each other and learn to trust enough to share their secrets.

Each time I see her, she shares carefully, ever so carefully, bits and pieces of herself. Every time I talk to her, I learn a little bit more about who she is and the layers she contains, like a trunk you take your time opening so you can savor the letters, the notebooks, the photos you find inside.

Finn is all about Jules and I love his support and understanding when she is slow to open up. I felt their trust grow and I loved when they felt comfortable to let the fears go and really let the other in.

I also love the secondary characters and how we get to see how everyone is connected. We get more of the characters from the first two books and then get some new characters who added to the story.

Overall, I really enjoyed Jules and Finn’s love story. Their journey has little drama and a whole lot of heart, and it was such a great addition to the series.
