Everything comes to an end.

Brigid Connor is a vampire familiar with ghosts. The ghosts of her past, the ghosts of her victims, and the ghosts of those she couldn’t save. Now in the wilds of America’s most remote frontier, she’ll face a specter who has haunted her steps, a fire vampire with a baffling connection to Brigid’s mate, her clan, and those she holds most dear.

Tenzin is an immortal who has lived a hundred lives. She’s been a daughter, a sister, a villain, and a hero. With every millennium, she has evolved, cutting ties with the past and moving forward with relentless focus, a survivor among the fiercest predators in history.

But history has a way of finding those who flee from it.

Tin God is a crossover between the Elemental Covenant and the Elemental Legacy novels. It is the final book in the Elemental Covenant series by eleven-time USA Today bestselling author Elizabeth Hunter.

4 stars!

Set within Elizabeth Hunter’s Elemental world, this book is a crossover between the Elemental Covenant series featuring Carwyn and Brigid, and the Elemental Legacy series featuring Ben and Tenzin. It’s an exciting, intriguing and romantic story with mystery and action, and it’s everything that I love about this world!

Being a crossover, this book gives us two couples and four POVs for this latest adventure, and the book begins with Brigid and Tenzin leaving their mates behind to secretly run off to Alaska to track down a dangerous vampire from Tenzin’s past who seems to be targeting them. Being the uber protective vampire males that they are, Carwyn and Ben are furious to be left behind and achingly worried about their mates, and they team up to find their women and help them in their mission.

It’s a great set up, and the dynamics are sensational with such unique personalities in play. The mystery storyline is intriguing and well developed and plays out really well as our intrepid hunters cleverly work to figure out who the bad guy is and organise a full-out assault to track them down and take them out.

Even with all of that excitement, this is, at heart, a character-driven story with heartfelt romance. Brigid has been through so much since she was introduced as a drug-addicted human way back in earlier books. Her character development has been great to watch, and hers and Carwyn’s fierce and unwavering love for each other is fun, steamy and beautifully emotional.

Carwyn owed his allegiance to no man, woman, or immortal.
Except one fucking woman who was determined to drive him mad.
Someone had recently described Brigid Connor as “a badger trapped in a barn” and it wasn’t an inaccurate comparison. She was stubborn, destructive, and single-minded. It made her a fierce protector, an absolute firecracker in bed, and one of the best vampires he’d known in a thousand years.
Of course he’d married her.

Ben and Tenzin have a wonderful relationship – she is a thousands-year-old vampire feared throughout their world, and Ben may be a new vampire, but he is more than a match for his mate, and I love how they love each other. And damn, but I’ll never get over grown-up Ben and his vampiric hotness.

I love that though this is one cohesive story, we also get two distinct stories as we see Brigid and Tenzin both confronting their pasts and continuing to learn and grow through their experiences. We also get to see intimate moments between the couples as they are there for each other in all the ways, and I loved seeing them still so beautifully loved-up.

She was a warrior, and he adored her. He’d spend eternity adoring her, and it wouldn’t be anything but what she deserved.

I loved this book. I loved the setting, the romance and the mystery, and loved catching up with these characters that I care so much about. This is a really enjoyable read.

4 stars.
