A new college romance series from Max Monroe?! Yes, please! Learning Curve is the first book in the Dickson University series and I can’t wait for more! It’s an emotional read that will break your heart before piecing it back together, but the heartache is worth it because Finn and Scottie belong together.
Finn comes to Dickson University with one thing on his mind, to meet the brother who doesn’t know he exists and to turn his world upside down. What he didn’t expect was to find true friends and his true love along the way.
Finn and Scottie have their own struggles when it comes to messed up families and these two seem like they are from different worlds but somehow they click. Their chemistry is off the charts and there is an undeniable connection they can’t ignore. There is a push and pull between them and though I wanted them to work their issues out earlier I totally get why they pushed each other away when they did. At different times these two had to deal with situations that made them feel like they were alone but that’s was far far from the truth.
This is a rollercoaster ride with ups and downs and twists all around. I couldn’t wait to see what happens and loved the way most things unfolded. There is definitely some drama but I was along for the ride!
I love this bunch of characters. From Ace and Blake to Julia and Kayla to the whole Kelly/Brooks/Winslow clan, Finn and Scottie were never alone even if they felt it at times. There are so many moments with this group and I love that when they say they have your back they mean it.
I loved seeing what all of Max Monroe’s characters were up to. Reacquainting myself with them and their children was wonderful and they always bring on the laughs. They were a huge part of the story but didn’t take away from Finn and Scottie.
