Release & ARC Review: Undeniably Infatuated (Boston’s Irresistible Billionaires, #3) by J. Saman

Undeniably Infatuated by J. Saman is live!

Wow, I loved this book! A gorgeously heartfelt romance with angst, drama and wild chemistry, and brilliantly overlapping tropes – billionaire, popstar/celebrity, brother’s ex-girlfriend, forbidden romance, close proximity, fake (but not really) relationship, second chance… it’s all tied together brilliantly, and I could not get enough of this story!

Blurb

She wasn’t some random vacation fling like everyone thought. She was my brother’s ex-girlfriend. A forbidden addiction I knew better than to touch.

I was escaping my life, stuck at a crossroads, and needing some clarity.

She was on the run, hiding from the press and the world after everything crumbled around her.

It wasn’t planned, but we were inevitable like a runaway train. We couldn’t stop it even if we tried.

For ten days, she was mine.

But now everything is back to normal. I’m a doctor, she’s a Hollywood princess, and lucky for me, our paths rarely cross.

That is until her dark past comes roaring back and she needs my help.

Once again, I don’t know how to stay away. Every fiery word is a form of foreplay. Every stolen touch is a decadent dance with temptation.

I need her. I crave her. I can’t get enough of her.

Only now our secrets are multiplying. The lies we’re telling are getting out of control. And what initially felt right now feels like a complicated mess.

I may be undeniably infatuated with Tinsley Monroe, but she’ll never truly be mine.

5 stars!

Stone Fritz is a doctor from a long line of doctors. He’s stuck, needing to reassess and reset his life, so he decides to head off for ten days of isolation on his sailboat, but when he arrives, there’s somebody already there. Tinsley Monroe is a pop star/actress who is wildly successful but who needs a break from the constant harassment of the press, and her demanding management team. She planned to hide out on the boat of a family friend alone, until Stone shows up.

Stone and Tinsley know each other not only because their parents are friends, but Tinsley is the ex-girlfriend of Stone’s younger brother. They got together in high school and were together for years and though they’ve been apart for a while and Tinsley has thoroughly moved on, Stone’s brother has struggled to let go of their relationship. It puts an awkward twist on them hanging out, but Tinsley is desperate, and Stone is a good guy, and he agrees to take her with him on his trip, which is tense and awkward right from the start.

“Do you want me to come out there in only my gym shorts of or boxer briefs with no shirt?”
“Ah! No!”
“Excellent. Go put on a fucking bra and an outfit that won’t make me hard and we’ll survive this trip.”
A pause. It’s heavy. “I’m not sure I like your level of honesty. For the record, I’m wearing a sports bra and cropped yoga pants. And I didn’t know my braless state made you hard.”
… Honesty is how we’ll get through this unscathed, and I plan to start now. “I’m a straight guy. Boobs are our thing, especially my thing. Any boobs. Your braless state makes me hard. I don’t like it. I fucking hate it. So let’s not encourage it. In fact, how about both of us wear clothes this week? Then neither of us will be tempted to look at things we shouldn’t.

Yes, the sexual tension is there right from the start. The attraction is evident from the beginning, and even though they try to keep their distance, the forced proximity and the easy way they open up to each other only increases the chemistry, and they soon dive into a wildly passionate affair. These two are so hot together, wildly insatiable for each other, and they are alone, and a long way from any possible judgement. It’s sexy and intense, and more than that, they talk about everything, helping each other to some pretty big realisations, and those ten days end up changing their lives forever. But their time together is limited, and at the end of it they go their separate ways, keeping everything that happened between them a precious secret.

I found everything I could ever want in her, and I have no choice but to let her go.

It’s two years later when Stone and Tinsley see each other again. Two years where their lives have changed, but their feelings have not. And when a threat from Tinsley’s past re-emerges, in a roundabout way they end up in a fake engagement to keep her safe. It’s a little weird how that all comes about, but I was so feeling these two being reunited that I just went with it, and I loved every moment of this story.

The emotion between these two is sensational. Both in the past and in the present I could feel everything! The love, the desperate longing, the angst caused by the forbidden feels, and it makes every moment between them so intense. Their love for each other is so beautiful, the sexy time is kinky, playful and passionate, and they get each other. It’s so easy between them, they laugh and have fun, they tease and banter, and they are there for each other in all the ways. They are just gorgeous together, and I loved watching them find something so special together while navigating such a heartachingly difficult journey.

“We can say it’s not real, that everything between us is fake, but we both know the truth.”

Given their crazy situation, there’s a lot of drama for them to deal with, but Stone and Tinsley stand strong in the middle of it, and I just love them!

I want Tinsley to cross all my lines. I want her to deconstruct my boundaries.
I want Tinsley. Plain. Simple. Wholly.

There’s a huge cast of cousins and friends all up in Stone and Tinsley’s business – mostly the second-generation of a huge family dynasty of doctors and rockstars from Saman’s earlier series. I haven’t quite wrapped my head around how they all fit together, and though I’m keen to go back and explore those earlier books, there’s enough background given here to follow along with the story, and you can read this book as a standalone. And just saying – this is a fantastically entertaining bunch. A great mix of characters, and I’m so excited to continue on with this series.

I loved this book so much. I loved the characters, I loved their love story, and I loved watching them honestly and openly work through so much to find their happy ever after.

Such a great read – 5 stars!
